Details will be updated as we get closer to the event.
Parents/guardians may accompany their child on the ride.
Volunteers will lead young mountain bikers out on a tour of the McAllister Park trails in groups based on skill level. We will have a short skills clinic before riding the trails. There is also the pump track and beginner skills course riders can practice on before or after riding the trails. This is a great opportunity for parents and children alike to get out on the dirt trails and see how fun mountain biking can be. Kids will learn basic trail skills and trail etiquette during this introduction to trail riding.
“Challenge by Choice” means no rider is expected to ride any obstacle they don’t feel comfortable riding. We’re there to have fun on the trails.
Participants will meet large parking lot near the McAllister Park Pump Track (https://goo.gl/maps/dYmf2uTzXKHgf9p7A), and the event will last from 9:00am-12 Noon.
