STORM All-Level Ride at McAllister Park

*** This is not a paved trail ride. We will ride all dirt trails. ***

Meet at McAllister Park Turkey Roost Pavilion (first pavilion inside Jones Maltsberger entrance) at about 6:00pm, with wheels down at 6:30pm. All skill levels are welcome. This is a no-drop ride, meaning leads and sweeps will keep the group together to ensure everyone makes it back. It is a 10+ mile ride typically lasting 2-3 hours.

Required:

• Trail-worthy mountain bike
• Helmet
• Closed-toe shoes
• Water bottle or hydration pack
• Lights (if it will be dark before the ride ends)

Recommended:

• Sunglasses
• Gloves
• Sunscreen
• Insect repellant

We will ride the McAllister Park dirt trails. The route may vary depending on the ride leader. Please bring a trail-worthy bike, helmet, snack, and plenty of water. If you have items to fix tire repairs or other bike mishaps, please bring them. We will try to keep stops to a minimum, depending on rider experience and knowledge of the trails.

Please indicate if you are willing to help as a sweep. A sweep stays in the back and helps make sure we do not leave any rider behind.
