HILL COUNTRY MTB CHALLENGE

The Texas Mountain Bike Racing Association’s (TMBRA) Race #5 of the NBLS Trailworks presents the TMBRA XC MTB State Championship Series comes to our backyard as STORM hosts the 27th Annual STORM Hill Country MTB Challenge at Flat Rock Ranch in Comfort, TX. This is the largest mountain bike race in the San Antonio area, with over 250 racers competing in different age, gender, and experience-based classes.

  • Pre-registration (BikeReg) is until Friday, April 10 at 7:00pm.
  • Late Registration (BikeReg)
    • After Friday, April 10 at 7:00pm – an additional $10 late fee applies for age groups 15+.
    • After Saturday, April 11 at 7:00pm – an additional $25 late fee applies (total $35 late fees).
    • Late registration closes on Sunday, April 12 at 6:00am.
• VOLUNTEER REGISTRATION
  • Volunteers must register by March 31, 2026, at midnight to pick up their shirt at the race. (actual date may change)

  • Everyone entering the ranch must pay the land use fee for Flat Rock Ranch regardless of racing/non-racing status. Discounts may apply. Visit the Flat Rock Ranch website for more details on pricing for land access, camping, and RV sites.
