South Texas Off Road Mountain-Bikers (STORM) will be joining with thousands of people nationwide on the re-scheduled date of June 8, 2019 to ride in the Out of the Darkness Ride for Life, benefiting the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, and we would appreciate any support that you give for this worthwhile cause.
The “Ride for Life” is to raise awareness on suicide prevention and support those impacted by suicide loss. A time for sharing. A time for embracing the fond memories of our loved ones.
The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention is at the forefront of research, education and prevention initiatives designed to reduce loss of life from suicide. With more than 36,000 lives lost each year in the U.S. and over one million worldwide, the importance of AFSP’s mission has never been greater, nor our work more urgent.
