STORM organizes two XC MTB race events every year. The proceeds from these events help to fund our women’s and youth programs as well as our trail stewardship efforts throughout the year.
STORM Miles of DisComfort Marathon Mountain Bike Race
Think you got the legs for this one? Endurance is the name of the game as participants compete to finish two full laps of Flat Rock Ranch (Upper and Lower loops x2) for some sweet singletrack goodness. If that seems like too much, we also have half-distance categories as well. This is the final race of the Texas Mountain Bike Marathon State Championship Series.
STORM Hill Country Mountain Bike Challenge
The Texas Mountain Bike Racing Association’s (TMBRA) XC State Championship Series comes to our backyard as STORM hosts the Hill Country Mountain Bike Challenge at Flat Rock Ranch in Comfort, TX. This is the largest mountain bike race in the San Antonio area with over 400 racers competing in the different age, gender, and experience-based classes.
