DESCRIPTION:Details\n\n\nREGISTER here and accept the liability waiver:\nhttps://x.gldn.io/e/y3zvlxqsBMb \nSTORM Take a Kid Mountain Biking Day (TKMBD) and TX NICA Try-it-Out \nSouth Texas Off-Road Mountain Bikers (STORM) hosts this free annual youth mountain biking event on the dirt trails at McAllister Park. \nThis is an excellent opportunity for parents and children to get out on the dirt trails and see how fun mountain biking can be. Kids will learn basic trail skills and trail etiquette during this trail riding introduction. Participants will meet at the McAllister Park practice fields parking lot at Pvalion 5 near the bike skills course and pump track (https://maps.app.goo.gl/Mjtvg8Pjg3zgLcvR8)\, and the event will last from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon. \nThe Texas Interscholastic Mountain Bike League will join STORM in getting More Kids on Bikes! This event welcomes everyone—whether you’re new to mountain biking or an experienced rider looking to connect with a new team. \nParents and community members are encouraged to attend\, meet our dedicated NICA students and coaches\, and explore opportunities to get involved as coaches or supporters. It’s a day of fun\, community\, and discovering the joy of mountain biking. No experience? No problem. Everyone is welcome! \nWhat to Bring:\nRequired: \n\nBicycle\nHelmet\nClosed-toe shoes\nWater bottle or hydration pack\n\nRecommended: \n\nSunglasses\nGloves\nSunscreen\nInsect repellant\n\nThis event is “weather permitting” and dependent on trail conditions to protect the trail system.
