DESCRIPTION:South Texas Off Road Mountain-Bikers (STORM) hosts this free monthly kid&#39:s ride at McAllister Park on the dirt trails. This is a great opportunity for parents and children alike to get out on the dirt trails and see how fun mountain biking can be. Kids will learn basic trail skills and trail etiquette during this introduction to trail riding. Participants will meet large parking lot near the McAllister Park Pump Track (https://goo.gl/maps/dYmf2uTzXKHgf9p7A)\, and the event will last from 9:00-11:30am. \nWe will be practicing social distancing and other precautions to make this a safe and enjoyable ride. \nWhat to bring:Required:– Bicycle– Helmet– Closed-toe shoes \nRecommended:– Sunglasses– Gloves– Water– Sunscreen \nThis event is “weather permitting” for the protection of the trail system. DESCRIPTION:We will pre-ride the SAKOB – San Antonio Kids on Bikes Mud Creek Race 12 and Under course at the STORM Kids ride tomorrow. Depending on who shows up\, we may ride a shorter\, easier loop first. We are also collecting school supply donations as part of the San Antonio Cycling School Supply Drive. \n\n\n#STORMKidsMTB \nSouth Texas Off Road Mountain-Bikers (STORM) hosts this free monthly kid’s ride on the dirt trails at McAllister Park. This is a great opportunity for parents and children to get out on the dirt trails and see how fun mountain biking can be. Kids will learn basic trail skills and trail etiquette during this introduction to trail riding. Participants will meet large parking lot near the McAllister Park Pump Track (https://goo.gl/maps/dYmf2uTzXKHgf9p7A)\, and the event will last from 9:00-11:30am. \nWhat to bring:\nRequired:\n– Bicycle\n– Helmet\n– Closed-toe shoes \nRecommended:\n– Sunglasses\n– Gloves\n– Water\n– Sunscreen \nThis event is “weather permitting” to protect the trail system.
