The Board shall promote public awareness of the public recreational facilities and services provided by the City and encourage community participation in those programs. \nThe Board is composed of 11 voting members each serving a two-year term (there is no limit to the number of terms that may be served) and two non-voting members. Each City Council district and the Mayor have an appointee within this Board. Kids will learn basic trail skills and trail etiquette during this trail riding introduction. Participants will meet at the McAllister Park practice fields parking lot\, located at Pvalion 5 near the bike skills course and pump track (https://maps.app.goo.gl/Mjtvg8Pjg3zgLcvR8)\, and the event will take place from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon. \nMcAllister Park\, Pavilion 5 \nParents and community members are encouraged to attend\, meet our dedicated NICA students and coaches\, and explore opportunities to get involved as coaches or supporters. It’s a day of fun\, community\, and discovering the joy of mountain biking. No experience? No problem.
