South Texas Off Road Mountain-Bikers (STORM) hosts this free monthly kid's ride at McAllister Park on the dirt trails. This is a great opportunity for parents and children alike to get out on the dirt trails and see how fun mountain biking can be. Kids will learn basic trail skills and trail etiquette during this introduction to trail riding. Participants will meet large parking lot near the McAllister Park Pump Track (https://goo.gl/maps/dYmf2uTzXKHgf9p7A), and the event will last from 9:00-11:30am.
We will be practicing social distancing and other precautions to make this a safe and enjoyable ride.
What to bring: Required: - Bicycle - Helmet - Closed-toe shoes
Recommended: - Sunglasses - Gloves - Water - Sunscreen
This event is “weather permitting” for the protection of the trail system. Updates and cancellations will be posted on the "STORM South Texas Off Road Mountain-Bikers" Facebook page and on the STORM website events page (https://stormmtb.org/events-calendar).
Parents or accompanying adults will need to sign a liability waiver for themselves and their child before the ride and may accompany their child on the ride.

The Parks and Recreation Board will hold its regular meeting in the City Tower Concourse Conference Room A at 100 W. Houston, San Antonio, Texas 78205 beginning at 5:30 PM. The City Tower Concourse Level can be accessed utilizing the City Tower Parking Garage elevators. Access to these elevators is available at the street level on either the Flores Street or Main Street sides of the facility.
If a visitor parks within the City Tower Parking Garage, any of the elevators within the parking structure will allow access directly to the Concourse Level. there is a Security Officer detail in place at the Concourse Level elevators, to conduct the needed security screening and visitor check in.
